The 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Course for Security Guards is designed to provide a deeper understanding of the duties and responsibilities of a security guard beyond the 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training. This course is a required step to complete your New York State security guard certification training.
Course Fee: $110
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on both days

Legal powers and limitations
Emergency response procedures
Communications and public relations
Access control procedures
Ethics and professional conduct
Incident reporting and documentation
Command system overview
Terrorism awareness and prevention
Requirements:
Attendance is mandatory for both days
Submit a state-issued ID and proof of course purchase (receipt or order confirmation)
An examination will be administered on the second day, and students must achieve a minimum passing score of 70% to earn certification. Upon successful completion, KTI NYC will issue a certificate of completion to all passing students.
